Meeting about Rare Diseases with Bishop Z. Zimowski President of the Pontificial council of Health Pastoral Care, Holy See, at GSK 15.09.2015
On September 15, 2015, on the occasion of the pastoral visit of the Pontificial Council for Health Care of the Holy See to persons with disabilities in Veneto the President of the Pontificial Council, Bishop Zygmunt Zimowski, met people and families with rare disease. The meeting took place in Verona at the headquarters of GSK. LAM Italia delegates Adonella Pesce and Vania Besoli represented LAM Italia at the meeting. The Archbischop Zimowski Chendi listened with the greatest interest. We will keep you updated about the initiatives of the Holy See for people with rare diseases. The same day Dr. Giuseppe Recchia has spoken about gene therapies for rare diseases, on which GSK has been working for many years.
Il 15 Settembre 2015, in occasione della visita pastorale del Pontificio Consiglio per la Sanità della Santa Sede alle persone con disabilità in Veneto il Presidente del Pontificio Consiglio, SE Mons Zygmunt Zimowski, ha incontrato persone e familiari con malattia rare. L'incontro si è svolto a Verona presso la sede della Gsk. Le nostre delegate venete Adonella Pesce e Vania Besoli hanno rappresentato LAM Italia all'incontro. SE Mons Zimowski e padre Chendi hanno ascoltato con grandissimo interesse. Sarà nostra cura tenervi aggiornati sulle iniziative della Santa Sede per le persone con malattie Rare. Sempre lo stesso giorno il dottor Giuseppe Recchia ha accennato alle terapie geniche per le malattie rare alle quali la GSK sta lavorando da molti anni.
